about
I live on 50 acres in western Oregon with my partner, two dogs and 12k honey bees. I spend as much time outside in the garden, hiking in the forest and taking a lot of photos as I can. I am inspired by all living things and take great pleasure nurturing them and watching them grow.
I am told that my work is organic, familiar and that it reminds them of ocean life, human cells, stones and pottery. Lately I have been working with a watercolor paint that is made from honey. It's fluid, smooth and rich in color. I also incorporate stippling into most of my watercolor pieces. I hope that you enjoy my work. Each piece is one of a kind and I am always available to be commissioned to work on a piece specifically for your space. Thanks for stopping by...have a great day! --Ray
